KAABOO Del Mar is excited to announce the 2017 ARTWORK lineup for its third annual live music and entertainment experience happening September 15-17, 2017. Globally recognized contemporary visual artists will showcase their work throughout the festival, where guests can expect to engage with live mural painting, sensational art installations and inspiring exhibitions, touching on nearly every artistic discipline. World-renowned Austrian street artist Nychos (Vienna, Austria), internationally acclaimed illustrators and muralists Bicicleta Sem Freio (Brazil), photorealism pioneer Case Maclaim (Germany), prolific interdisciplinary artist Crystal Wagner (Brooklyn, NY) and bold graffiti and street artist Elle are among the top names in contemporary art represented at this year’s festival. They will be joined by evocative muralist, illustrator and installation artist Felipe Pantone (Spain), as well as Erin Yoshi (Los Angeles), Gloria Muriel (San Diego), Hula (Hawaii), Ian Ross (San Francisco), Kelly Ording (Oakland, CA), Lauren Napolitano (Oakland, CA), Lauren YS (San Francisco), Lucien Shapiro (Los Angeles), Ouizi (Detroit, MI), Paola Delfin (Mexico City), Pangeaseed featuring Frank and Mimi (Hawaii / Brisbane), PichiAvo (Valencia, Spain), Spenser Little (San Diego), Amandalynn (San Francisco), and many more. A complete lineup is featured below.

At KAABOO Del Mar, art is an elemental part of the experience. Many of the works are created live, on-site during the event, allowing attendees to witness art in the making.  Nearly 100 art installations by national and global artists are in place upon arrival, making KAABOO one of Southern California’s largest contemporary art fairs. Pop-up gallery exhibitions are curated by 111 Minna (San Francisco), C.A.V.E. Gallery (Venice Beach), Distinction Gallery (San Diego), San Diego Museum of Art (San Diego), Sparks Gallery(San Diego), Sugar Press (Los Angeles), and VISUAL Urban Contemporary Gallery (San Diego). All works in this exhibition are for sale on-site.

“The KAABOO ARTWORK Experience brings together the talent and inspiration of some of the world's most renowned contemporary visual artists,” says KAABOO Artistic Director Amandalynn. “Ranging from large-scale mural installations, to one-of-a-kind sculpture installations, and exclusive gallery displays, the KAABOO ARTWORK experience has something to engage every kind of audience. We are very proud of the extensive diversity of talent that come together for this unique visual experience.”

ARTWORK Director Ariel Gordon is quick to add that the art featured at the festival doesn’t come second to the incredible lineup of musicians; instead, art and music join to form a purposefully integrated sensory adventure. “We've curated a program that is filled with an extremely diverse roster of artists who have programs we wholeheartedly believe in,” says Gordon. “KAABOO has given our art program the opportunity to be woven into the DNA of the entire event. It’s a chance for everyone to find a work of art to fall in love with."
